If you’re looking to buy a second-hand car, let The Workshop take a look at it first!
Even though you might be buying a second hand car with a roadworthy certificate, you don’t really know what kind of condition it’s in – as a roadworthy certificate doesn’t cover a number of things such as air conditioning, electric windows, rear window demisters etc. We will prepare a pre-purchase car inspection report for you so you can take the guesswork and stress out of buying a brand new car.
You’ll feel totally at ease knowing exactly the condition of the car before you buy it. Our technicians will check out all of the bodywork, electrics, everything under the hood and all the in-betweens which will be outlined in our detailed report.
The exterior inspection includes rust, panels and paint work. On the inside, we look at the interior condition, seat belts and electronic functions. Lights and battery will also be checked, then the heating/cooling to the demister system. The vehicle will also be hoisted so our mechanic can do a rigorous inspection of the vehicle’s underbody. Then the frame, exhaust, suspension, shock absorbers, drive shafts and gearbox will also be checked.
Our pre-purchase inspection report will also include the tread measurements for each tyre, plus a full engine check and a road test checking brakes and overall performance.
Rest assured knowing the condition of your car before you buy it. Call The Workshop today for a pre-purchase car inspection on (03) 8581 2222.
